as the President of the SouthEast Europe Neurosurgical Society (SeENS) it is my great honour and pleasure to welcome you to the 6th MASSIN Congress in Budva, Montenegro, October 26-29 2017.
This historic Congress is the unique opportunity to celebrate Professor Madjid Samii 80th birthday and 40 years of neurosurgical professional activity. The motto of the Congress “Neurosurgery as a Way of Life” clearly represents all that Professor Madjid Samii is and has given to the World Neurosurgery.  
The 6th MASSIN Congress is hosted by the Southeast European Neurosurgical Society (SeENS), a rising star Neurosurgical Society that celebrates its 5 years of establishment (2012-2017). We, the SeENS, feel honored and privileged to host the 6th MASSIN Congress since Professor Madjid Samii has recognized the mission of our Society and has offered his outstanding support and help.
6th MASSIN Congress takes places at the Adriatic town of Budva, Montenegro and it reflects the idea of borderless cooperation.
We expect a dynamic, remarkable scientific programme addressing all aspects of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience.

It is my great honor and pleasure to  welcome you to the 6th MASSIN Congress, which will be held in Bečići, Budva, Montenegro from 26th to 29th October 2017. 
Montenegro is a small country with a population of about 600,000 and with outstanding natural beauty, ranging from the fascinating coastal areas to the high mountains rich in forests and lakes.  
Numerous monuments from different eras and of different cultural characteristics witness a significant historical past of Montenegro. 
Neurosurgery community in our country is a small one, but with fifty years of tradition and efforts for everyday improvement to the benefit of our patients. I am confident that our upcoming conference will be at a high level with the participation of our friends from many countries worldwide. 
As hosts of this event, whose organization I see as a great recognition and encouragement for further work, we will try to make your stay in Montenegro comfortable and to allow you to see the beauty of our country.
